Why You Should Start a Fitness Blog
I just realized that last month marked the 3 year anniversary of this fitness blog. When I started this blog I didn’t know how long it would last but I’m so glad that I stuck with it because it has helped me out in so many ways. This blog started as a way for me to learn more about health and fitness. It served as my way of staying motivated as well as being accountable for my fitness.
Along the way I have interviewed some great fitness professionals and made new friends. I’ve also received free products just for reviewing them on here and I started up my own fitness business. Not only that, I have continued to work out the entire time and have helped to motivate friends and family to exercise as well.
I feel that if this blog has helped anyone get off of the couch, that is the best reward. If you are on a journey of improving your health and fitness, I highly recommend starting a blog of your own. The benefits are many:
- It helps to keep you accountable to yourself and your readers.
- You can document your progress much easier.
- It’s fun and you connect with others who are doing the same.
- It’s a great way to cope with the ups and downs.
- It can be lucrative (promote products, run ads, etc.)
- Perks – many companies will send you free stuff to review.
